The Army and Air Force Hometown News Service Holiday Greetings team is scheduled to visit Incirlik Aug. 24-26 to film holiday messages from base people for their hometown TV and radio stations.

The team of Army Sgt. Kimberly Williams, Air Force Tech. Sgt. Reginald Eggins and Army PFC Andrew Branstad, AAFHNS broadcasters, will set up shop at the 728th Air Mobility Squadron passenger terminal and in front of the Base Exchange. Filming will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Holiday Greetings program gives families back in the states a chance to see their loved ones stationed overseas.

Once produced, HN sends each 15- to 20- second greeting to nearly every commercial TV and radio station within the broadcasting area of the person's chosen location; however, a separate greeting must be made for each location.

The program is open to military members, Department of Defense civilians and their families, pets included. Military members must wear the uniform of the day.

The crew has a script people can read or participants can add their own words and messages, but the message must include rank, name, family member's name and locations, and hometown.

People who will PCS or be on leave in the United States during the holiday season are not eligible to participate.

Be prepared and fill out the HN form to bring along and shorten your wait.
