I just want to give a thank you to all that goes on behind the scenes. Early in my husband's career, I felt airmen only did things to get those needed bullets for EPR/OPRs. Once you become an active part of the Air Force Family and look from the inside out, you realize there are a lot of people who give without any recognition at all. These people (First Shirts, Active Duty, and Civilians & Family Members) are the quiet angels among us. We are all in this together. Keep up the terrific support! Know your actions are noticed and very much appreciated by the families you help!

You're right, and this is a wonderful time of year to recognize those who do put 'Service before self.' They are the unsung heroes, quietly going above and beyond every day. I'm proud of each of them, and I thank you for recognizing their sacrifice and honoring their service.
