Complaint:

Currently, civilian personnel listings are shown on USA jobs or via the FSS link on the Incirlik home page. For many newcomers and or spouses of active duty members, these links are tough to follow or get to, and for someone who is new to the process, hard to locate. Would it be possible to create a page, directly off the Incirlik.af.mil home page, called "Civilian Vacancies" that lists all the vacancies on base, listed by the Group where the vacancies are located? Thanks.

Response:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your inquiry on civilian job postings. First let me say, I am sorry to hear you are having problems locating our civilian vacancy Web site. Every effort is made to ensure Web sites are easily accessible while staying within OPSEC and procedural guidelines.

Nonetheless, you can now locate links to civilian vacancies with just a few extra clicks from the Incirlik home page by clicking on the "Civilian Vacancies" button at the bottom right hand of the screen on the Incirlik Homepage. The link will redirect you to a page on the 39th Force Support Squadron's Web site. Within that link you can find the links for the Civilian Personnel Office (APF) and Human Resources (NAF). Based on your recommendation, the Web sites for AFP & NAF have been revamped in order to make it easier to navigate and take you to the AF and USAFE links that operate the civilian sites. Links for AAFES, DoDDS and VBR have also been added to the 39 FSS website for customer convenience.

Just in case you did not know, the Airman and Family Readiness Center is available to assist in a plethora of job seeking challenges. They can help folks navigate the USA Jobs website and provide guidance on how to apply. They also are available to aid with resume writing and interviewing strategies.
