Action Line #90611 -- Housing Curfew

Complaint:

I was wondering if there is a base housing curfew for children. Since my family and I arrived here in early April, we have heard yelling and screaming outside our home well into the night. These are having a toll on my family, one newborn and a 4-year old. My actions, along with my spouse's, have gone unheard within the neighborhood.

Response:

Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention. Officially, there is no curfew for children. However, quiet hours exist between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. throughout the installation. In the event your neighbors are not adhering to this standard or if the noise level exceeds a reasonable threshold, please contact the Security Forces Law Enforcement Desk at 676-3200. Regardless of the time, Security Forces patrols will certainly assist in enforcing the standards and ensuring a quiet and enjoyable quality of life for your family.
