MSG gains two more units

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey --  The 425th and the 717th Air Base Squadrons were reassigned from the 39th Air Base Wing to the 39th Mission Support Group by Headquarters United States Air Forces in Europe, Dec. 1. The two units, located at Izmir and Ankara respectively, will now fall under the 39th MSG.

"This is a very good thing for the 425th and 717th Air Base Squadrons," said Col. Eric Beene, 39th Air Base Wing commander. "Putting them in the mission support group will give them more focused support and attention, and a direct line to the other squadrons that support their missions. I am very happy USAFE expedited this change."
