Registration for 2010 Air Force Marathon now open to public

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Online registration for the 2010 Air Force Marathon opened to the public Jan. 1 at www.usafmarathon.com.

The 26.2 mile race will be held Sept.18, on the grounds of the National Museum of the United States Air Force. A half marathon and 10K race will also be held on the 18th. The Air Force Marathon and Wright State University will continue the tradition of hosting a 5K race Sept. 17 on the local campus of Wright State University. The annual Sports and Fitness Expo will be Sept. 16th and 17th at the Ervin J Nutter Center.

"With the increasing popularity of our race we anticipate a sellout for 2010 and I am encouraging people to register early," said Molly Louden, Air Force Race Director.
