NFL stars to tour Incirlik Published March 23, 2010 By Senior Airman Sara Csurilla 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Three stars from the National Football League will visit Incirlik for three days to tour the base, meet with Airmen and contribute to the high morale at Incirlik. Drew Brees, quarterback of the New Orleans Saints and Super Bowl XLIV Most Valuable Player, Donnie Edwards, former NFL linebacker and Billy Miller, tight end for the New Orleans Saints will arrive here March 23 and stay until March 25. During the second day of their visit, several events have been organized for the Incirlik community to come out and meet and greet with the stars. - 7:35 a.m. they will have breakfast with a select group of Airmen at the Sultan's Inn, where the NFL stars will sign autographs, take photos and have a discussion with the Airmen. - 11:30 a.m. there will be an autograph signing held at the base exchange until 12:30 p.m. - 3:25 p.m. the stars will help inspire Incirlik youth by tossing a ball around with the children, taking pictures with the kids and signing autographs. - 4 p.m. at the Fitness Center will be the last opportunity for the public to meet with the stars. They will sign autographs, hold a question and answer session and take photos. During their visit, the stars will also visit various workplaces throughout the installation.
