Action Line #100306 – MDG parking Published April 22, 2010 By 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Complaint: My concern is that our MDG commander has announced on several occasions not to park in the dorm parking lot, yet people still did. Now the dorm parking is blocked off so the staff has taken it upon themselves to use the Auto Hobby shop as their parking lot. I think that this should be addressed even if it is SFS making rounds and putting tickets on their cars. The MDG has a huge parking lot in the front of the building that is open for use. Response: Thanks for the question, but my understanding is that the MDG/CC has made no such statement regarding parking at the old Auto Hobby Shop, and we've checked with the security force squadron about any safety concerns/rules against parking there. Since we could discover neither, until it is evident that parking in the old auto hobby parking area represents a safety or security risk we will continue to allow it to be used by Medical Group personnel during duty hours.
