Incirlik's newest housing opens Published June 17, 2010 By Senior Airman Alexandre Montes 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Phase three of Eagle Housing officially opened Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. Replacing facilities built in 1961, Incirlik is in the final stages of the housing project which will improve the quality of life for its members. About 44 new townhomes were added to the community. With help from the USACE, Incirlik will soon have 650 new housing units to include renovated homes in Phantom and Falcon housing. Producing 22 units in phase one, 34 in phase two and 44 in phase three. Complete with 11 Gazebo's and four playgorunds, it also accomidates recreation areas such as nine hole mini-golf course, mini soccer field and a five killometer running track.
