Hyatt 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs Incirlik Air Base, Turkey -- Contractors will begin remodeling at the fitness center here Dec. 20, to replace the flooring in the weight room. All select and free-weight training equipment will be disassembled and moved to the gymnasium for use according to Airman 1st Class Michael Ramos, a staff member at the fitness center. While the weight room equipment will be transferred to the gym, the rest of the facility, such as the cardio room and aerobics room, will remain available for regular use. During the remodeling, there will be no reservations for individuals or squadron physical training. Until completion, all games for the Incirlik intramural basketball season will be held at the Department of Defense Dependents School gym. According to fitness center officials, the remodeling is expected to be completed by the end of January or the beginning of February 2011.
