Tops in Blue, the Air Force's expeditionary entertainment unit, is scheduled to perform "America the Beautiful" during festivities leading up to Super Bowl XLV in Arlington, Texas, Feb. 6.

The group will perform alongside actress Lea Michele of the Fox television series "Glee" during pre-game activities. Tops in Blue performed as the half-time show during Super Bowl XIX in 1985 and Air Force Services Agency officials are pleased to have the group invited back.

Tom Edwards, Tops in Blue director, said, "This year's team is extremely excited about this opportunity, and every member looks forward to representing the Air Force both live and on television throughout the world."

Tops in Blue is a group of Airmen comprised of 35 vocalists, dancers, musicians and technicians who perform for deployed service members and coalition forces, helping provide a sense of pause and escape for them so they feel inspired to continue their missions.

For the past 57 years, Tops in Blue has served as America's ambassadors, traveling to more than 20 countries to perform more than 120 times each year for Airmen and families around the world.

Super Bowl XLV between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers will be televised on FOX Feb. 6 with kickoff scheduled for 6:25 p.m. ET. Tops in Blue will perform shortly after 6 p.m.

You can watch the Super Bowl Feb. 6-7 at the club complex here. Doors will open at 11:30 p.m., and the game begins at 1:30 a.m. The club is also hosting a tailgate party Feb. 1, where participants will have the chance to view and vote for the locally-produced Incirlik Super Bowl commercials. They will have membership drive prize giveaways, drink specials starting at 5p.m., and club members get free tailgate party snacks.
