Lucas Skillman from the 39th Contracting Squadron received two awards at his Noncommissioned Officer Academy graduation ceremony Feb. 10, 2011, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Sergeant Skillman received the Commandant's Award and was also named one of the Distinguished Graduates in a class of 145 students. The Commandant's Award is presented to the student who, in the commandant's judgment, made the most significant contribution to the overall success of the class. The DG award is based on evaluations as well as instructor and peer leadership points and is presented to the top 10 percent of the class. Also graduating from NCOA class 2011-3 were Tech. Sgts. Terry Agena and Kaion Smith from the 39th Contracting Squadron, Tech. Sgt. James May from the 39th Communication Squadron, Tech. Sgt. Robert Bishop from the 39th Security Forces Squadron, Tech. Sgt. Tommy Palmer from the 728th Air Mobility Squadron and Tech. Sgt. Robert Wilson III from the 425th Air Base Squadron.
