Stanley Baird Group performs for Incirlik Airmen, shows support Published March 3, 2011 By Tech. Sgt. Valda Wilson 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- The Stanley Baird Group, a jazz band, visited Incirlik Air Base Feb. 19, to perform for Airmen. The show was arranged by Armed Forces Entertainment to boost the morale of Airmen stationed here. "The Stanley Baird group blew away the [more than] 100 Incirlik [Air Base] attendees with their amazing entertainment skills," said Kevin M. Kaysing, the 39th Force Support Squadron deputy director. The 39th FSS was happy to team up with AFE to bring this professional musical group to Incirlik, Mr. Kaysing said. Their blend of jazz and R&B was something Incirlik had not seen for some time, he added. The Stanley Baird group is one of many entertainment groups AFE has chosen to perform for service members stationed overseas. According to the AFE website, they host over 1,200 shows around the world each year reaching over 500,000 personnel at 270 military installations.
