Senior Airman Nicholas Koch, 39th Security Forces Squadron, receives the John L. Levitow Award from Chief Master Sgt. Marcus Snoddy, 39th Air Base Wing command chief, during the Airman Leadership School Class 11-6 graduation June 20, 2011, at the Club Complex at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. The Levitow Award is the highest achievement for enlisted Airmen enrolled in U.S. Air Force professional military education. It is awarded to the top graduate at each level of PME: ALS, NCO academy and senior NCO academy. Only one Airman can earn the Levitow Award in each class.
