39th ABW, labor union reps sign agreement Published Aug. 31, 2012 By Senior Airman Daniel Phelps 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- 39th Air Base Wing officials and the Turk Harb-Iş labor union representatives signed a collective labor agreement contract Aug. 31 in Ankara, civilian personnel officials said. "We are excited to continue our great relationship with our host nation partners with the conclusion of negotiations and the agreement of this contract," said Col. Christopher Craige, 39th ABW commander. "Our local national employees are an excellent contribution to our team and I am pleased that work will continue uninterrupted." The labor union negotiations were part of the standard biennial contract review. The feedback among the Turkish employees seemed to be positive, officials added.
