U.S. Army speeds through competition during cross-country relay

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- Various organizations at Incirlik Air base participated in a cross-country relay April 13 at the Golf Course here.

Seventeen three-person teams comprised of U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, Dutch Army personnel and Incirlik family members competed in the 4.5 mile relay race hosted by the 39th Force Support Squadron.

The top three teams placed as follows:

First place was the U.S. Army team "Ram Rod," who finished in 28 minutes and 36 seconds.

Second place was the Dutch Army team "Role 1," who finished in 29:25.

Third place was the U.S. Air Force "Com Squadron 1," who finished in 29:54.
