Izmir community celebrates Memorial Day

IZMIR, Turkey -- The U.S. military community at Izmir gathered together for a Memorial Day joint service wreath-laying ceremony at Karabaglar Pasa Kopru Cemetery to honor fallen servicemembers May 27.

A memorial service at Izmir Chapel followed the ceremony.
