39th Contracting Squadron

The 39th Contracting Squadron (39 CONS) plays a pivotal role in establishing and managing contracts, providing expert business advice, and overseeing contract actions valued at over $39 million annually. The squadron is comprised of 42 contracting professionals, to include both U.S. and Turkish nationals, responsible for $800 million in base operations, contingency, and surety mission acquisitions.

39 CONS manages the 39th Air Base Wing’s (ABW) Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, valued at over $7.4 million with more than 2,400 transactions.
