A small team of Airmen from the 1st Combat Communications Squadron recently deployed to Diyarbakir to build a network from scratch for all combat search and rescue operations servicing Iraq and Syria. The team established communications abilities, set up secure and non-secure networks and provided mission essential equipment for personnel recovery forces downrange in just five days.
