INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey --

Lt. Col. Robert Grant took command of the 39th Operations Support Squadron during a change of command ceremony here, June 16.

Prior to taking command, Grant served as the chief of the commander’s action group, 3rd Air Force and 17th Expeditionary Air Force, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
