INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey --

Maj. Yalunda Akinloba took command of the 39th Contracting Squadron during a change of command ceremony here, June 13.

Prior to taking command, Akinloba was the lead contracting officer, developmental systems contracts, rapid capabilities office, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington D.C.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
