On the sidelines of some school or professional sports team coaching.

Leadership Message: Staff Sgt. Murphy's ability to accomplish the mission and attain goals is unmatched.  He has a vast knowledge in his current position and we rely on him heavily. Murphy has overcome personal adversity in his career and it has made him a stronger person. We know opportunities like this will strengthen his scope of continuing leadership and prepare him for future leadership roles. Additionally we believe, working side by side with Chief Master Sgt. Vegas Clark, 39th Air Base Wing command chief, will expand his Air Force horizons so he may translate his new found experience to his peers and to our younger Airman.
