What is your child doing for Spring break? Instead of a week of Playstation 2 tournaments and complaining about how boring it is here, send your high school son or daughter on a spring break that will impact them for a life time. Incirlik High School students are invited to join more than 800 U.S. military dependant student, and adult small group leaders for a spring break in Slovakia they will never forget.

For most of Incirlik high school-aged students, the trip to Slovakia would offer a unique experience.

"During the day the youth will break out in groups of 50 and travel to 16 different communities where we will each do a community service project (build a playground) as well as in school relational ministry," said Mr. Anderson. "There will be one adult leader for every four to six students. Each site will also have an adult leadership team consisting of a site leader, contractor, assistant contractor, two relational ministry leaders and a medical staff person. In the evenings, all 800 students will come together to eat and have an incredible club time with skirts, a band and speakers."

"Opportunities to truly help someone else better themself do not come often," said Kurt Anderson Club Beyond community director. "What better way to spend a spring break then by giving someone an opportunity to improve by simply giving your time, your hands and your smile to a community need."

Club Beyond has been leading student service projects all over the world for nearly 20 years. Call Mr. Anderson at the chapel at 676-6441 to get more information abd a registration form for your high school child. March training dates for the trip will be announced in February. Registration is needed as soon as possible.

"Parents please do not let your children miss out an experience of a life time," said Cindy Anderson, Club Beyond assistant community director. "We look forward to seeing you in Slovakia for some real fun and excitement."

Slots for the trip are going quickly and parents and children interested in participating in this unique opportunity should call Mr. Anderson ASAP. For more information about Club Beyond visit http://www.mcym.org/.
