INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey --   Col. Andrew Meadows received command of the 39th Medical Group from Col. Craig Wills, 39th Air Base Wing commander, during a change of command July 22, here.

Col. Jerome Wizda, outgoing commander, will continue Air Force career at the Air Force Inspection Agency in New Mexico.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
