3/11/2011 - INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey  -- Fourteen Incirlik Airmen were selected for promotion to the rank of senior master sergeant March 10, 2011.

The master sergeants selected are:

Jennifer Anthony, 39th Communications Squadron
James Black, 39th Contracting Squadron
Gregory Brannan, 39th Civil Engineer Squadron
Tanya Carbone, 39th Communications Squadron
Ouida Daniels, 39th Force Support Squadron
Chadrick Hayden, 39th Security Forces Squadron
Michael Laskowski, 39th Civil Engineer Squadron
Eric Loftus, 39th Maintenance Squadron
Blenda Mease, 728th Air Mobility Squadron
Craig Moir, 728th Air Mobility Squadron
Kenneth Patterson, 39th Logistics Readiness Squadron
Robert Schrader, 39th Maintenance Squadron
William Walden, 39th Logistics Readiness Squadron
Mandy Williams, 39th Comptroller Squadron

"We are extremely proud of Team Incirlik as we celebrate with our Senior Master Sergeant selects and their families," said Col. Chad Butts, the 39th Air Base Wing vice commander. "Their individual efforts and those of their commanders and supervisors, led to the Team Incirlik selection rate nearly doubling the U. S. Air Force average."

Team Incirlik Airmen had a selection rate of 19.71 percent compared with the Air Force selection rate of 10.29 percent; 1,274 master sergeants were selected Air Force wide.

The average score for those selected was 665.57, with an average time in grade of 4.30 years and an average time in service of 19.76 years. The average score was based on the
following point averages: 134.98 for enlisted performance reports, 20.92 for decorations, 64.34 for the Air Force supervisory examination and 392.25 board score.

Those selected for senior master sergeant will be promoted according to their promotion sequence number beginning in April 2011.

As a reminder, selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, which is no later than 10 days after the promotion release date. Air Force Personnel Center officials will notify Airmen through their military personnel sections if their selection is in question.
