A Pause for Atatürk, founder of the modern-day Republic of Türkiye

Turkish Airmen assigned to the 10th Tanker Base Command render a salute to the Turkish flag during the Atatürk Memorial Day ceremony at Incirlik Air Base, Türkiye, Nov. 10, 2022. The 10th Tanker Base Command and the 39th Air Base Wing pay tribute and give credit to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk for the birth and modernization of Türkiye and his accomplishments. Turkish residents throughout the nation spent two minutes in silence on Nov. 10th at 9:05 a.m., to pay respect and commemorate the 84th anniversary since his passing.
