Munitions Airmen keep OIR aircraft armed

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Adam, a 447th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron munitions systems journeyman, prepares the tail section of a GBU-54 Laser Joint Direct Attack Munition bomb Oct. 29, 2016, at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. The bombs built and delivered by the Airmen are primarily used by the A-10 Thunderbolt II, an aircraft designed for close air support of ground forces.
