Job description and how do you contribute to the 39 ABW's mission?
Maintain Digital Airport Surveillance Radar, radar approach control, and portable Doppler Radar. Without these systems running at full capacity, control of air traffic is extremely inhibited. My crew ensures that every flight flown out of Incirlik Air Base goes off without a hitch and that our Airmen return to base safely. We also ensure all commercial air traffic out of the Adana Airport comes and goes smoothly.
What is one thing you hope to accomplish while at Incirlik?
Complete my Community College of the Air Force degree as well as earn my personal trainer certification. Mainly I would like to inspire the Airmen that are constantly coming and going in my work center so that they can grow and thrive at their next duty station.
What has been your biggest lesson learned in the Air Force?
Customs and courtesies, and maintaining bearing.
Who inspires you?
My wife! By taking on the role of both parents in my absence as well as broadening her entrepreneurial and business skills by starting her own business.
What is your number one goal?
To inspire others. I want people to see that anything they want to achieve in life is obtainable. Work hard and dedicate yourself and you will achieve your goals.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Working for my dad as a computer networking and cabling technician as well as having a personal training business on the side.
