Over the last few months our Incirlik team has done a tremendous job addressing a dynamic range of problems from chemical weapons attacks in Syria to an increased tempo as we improve our wing and enhance our readiness.

It's critical that we avoid complacency. Even though the headlines have settled down, our responsibility to be ready hasn't changed. It's important that we continue to train for contingencies, including the possibility of a Noncombatant Evacuation Operation.

There are a variety of reasons we might have to NEO, from increased tensions in the region to a natural disaster. It's important that when the time comes our procedures are solid and that our people are confident in our ability to execute this operation smoothly.

This week we'll conduct our final NEO exercise of 2013, and we're asking all of our noncombatants to take time to participate in the exercise. While it is not mandatory, I encourage you to come out and familiarize yourselves with NEO.

Our primary purpose this week is to build confidence in our population and ensure they know we are ready to conduct this important mission. Additionally, the Force Support Squadron is offering some great incentives to bring as many people as possible through the process.

All participating dependents will automatically be entered into a drawing for free round-trip airfare for two to Cyprus, including 2 nights in a 5 star hotel. Additionally, all club members will qualify for an additional Mega Moola ticket for each dependent that comes through the line in addition to two tickets for each pet. NEO + MEGA MOOLA - what could be better?

Thanks again for all of your hard work and dedication to our wing and our nation. We're only as ready as we are right now, and I look forward to improving our readiness this week!
