Last week we were privileged to host the U.S. Air Forces in Europe vice commander, Lt. Gen. Robert Bishop Jr., and this week we are hosting another very distinguished visitor, the Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Gerald R. Murray. Leaders of this caliber come to Incirlik to watch our Airmen execute the mission and do great things for our Air Force.

In the upcoming months we need you to maintain focus on your day-to-day duties and also to broaden that focused mission support to encompass exercises. We will be sharpening our exercise practices from now until September. Remember, every one of us is a player and can make or break the team.

Ensure if you are going on leave or PCSing there is someone spun up in your place.

A lot will change this summer and there are many moving parts to the equation. We will welcome two group commanders and a new vice wing commander.

It is up to all of us to ensure these leaders are ready to meet the upcoming inspections head-on. Keep your head in the game.

Remember, our '3Fs' ... Family, Fitness and Focus. Now that we talked about what our focus should be in the upcoming months, remember the most important 'F' is family. With summer quickly approaching it would be wise to start planning now to spend time with your families and take part in exploring our host nation, Turkey, Europe or vacationing in the U.S.
