AFN brings one more channel to the line up Published Dec. 22, 2006 By Senior Airman Patrice Clarke 39th Air Base Wing Public Affairs INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey -- If you're surfing through the channels tonight you might notice something a little different ... and I am not talking about Frosty the Snowman (which plays tonight on AFN/Family at 9 p.m.). Members of Team Incirlik now have one more channel to surf. Base members can now view AFN/Prime Freedom on channel 12. AFN/Prime Freedom shows the same programming as AFN/ just two hours early. "We had request from the community to bring AFN/Prime Freedom online so that people can catch their shows earlier in the day," said Master Sgt. Bobby Herron, Armed Forces Network Detachment 7, detachment operations section chief. AFN/Prime Freedom was added to the AFN lineup for deployed members to view shows at a time that is convenient for them. Base members can go straight to channel 12 or re-tune their televisions. "We try to accommodate Team Incirlik the best we can," said Sergeant Herron. "Just ask the question and we will see what we can do."
