USACE addresses COVID-19 concerns

At the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District, we make public health and safety our top priority. Due to federal and state precaution policies surrounding the spread of COVID-19 (Corona virus), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has decided to postpone the Coastal Texas Study Community Meeting in Port Bolivar previously scheduled for Thursday, March 19th, at Jose’s Cantina, 1021 State Highway 87, Crystal Beach, Texas 77650. To combat the spread of COVID-19 USACE supervisors, commanders, and leaders at all levels are assessing risk and making determinations on re-scoping or cancelling events and/or training.
