Space-A Travel

In Incirlik's passenger terminal, you'll find a Distinguish Visitor, restrooms with showers. While waiting for a flight, take advantage of our computer/internet access to include free WI-FI access, three large screen televisions, and an American Eatery snack bar. Baggage storage lockers and long-term parking are not available.

Eligibility
Travelers must meet DOD eligibility requirements outlined below, if you have any questions call the Passenger Terminal at DSN 676-6424/6425. 
Passenger precedence
Passengers are assigned available seats on a first-in, first-out basis within their respective categories. The categories are as follows: 

- Category 1: Non-funded emergency travel.
- Category 2: Active Duty with/without dependents and DOD civilians on environmental morale leave (EML) status 
- Category 3: Active duty on ordinary leave, convalescent leave, and permissive TDY status (house hunting only).
- Category 4: Unaccompanied dependents on environmental morale leave (EML) and DODDS teachers traveling on EML during summer break.
- Category 5: Command sponsored dependents and permissive TDY travel. (sports)
- Category 6: Retirees

Notes: For all category passengers, your name remains on the waiting list for 60 days or whenever your leave expires. Active-duty personnel on leave must be in a leave status at the time of space available sign-up and remain on leave the entire time before and during travel. Space-A travel with dependents is not authorized in conjunction with TDY orders.

Authorized attire
The wear of the military uniform is no longer required when traveling Space-A on Air Mobility Command aircraft. Military uniforms may be worn on flights between military bases only. AMC has defined inappropriate attire as tank tops, opened-toed shoes (commercial aircraft only), and soiled/ torn/revealing or offensive clothing. Active duty military and civilians traveling within Turkey must be in civilian attire.

Baggage allowance
The baggage allowance for AMC Space A passengers is limited to two pieces per passenger. Each piece must not exceed 70 pounds and not be larger than 62 linear inches in dimension (linear inches = length + width + height). The C-12 Huron and C-21 Learjet aircraft are restricted to one piece at 35 pounds. Hand-carried baggage is limited to 45 linear inches (L x W x H). Please NOTE: Purses, Briefcases, Diaper Bags, and Laptops are excluded. Please visit the TSA.gov website on all the restricted items.
