The 39th Weapons System Security Group provides command and control and oversight for 500+ personnel across three squadrons. The group provides compliance-driven maintenance, airfield, and force protection capabilities that underpin successful execution of a variety of mission sets and airfield management mission sets. It directly supports U.S., NATO, and Partner Nation forces on Incirlik Air Base with aerospace ground equipment, aircraft service support, and munitions maintenance. Additionally, the group provides world-class airfield management, air traffic control, intelligence, and weather support to Joint and Coalition forces executing operations in support of Turkey, NATO, and associated Overseas Contingency Operations. Force and resource protection execution in support of the 39th Air Base Wing's enduring missions is within its mission portfolio. The 39th WSSG oversees three squadrons: 39th Maintenance Squadron39th Security Forces Squadron, and 39th Operations Support Squadron.
